About Intu Diagnostics
Intu Diagnostics is a Leipzig-based molecular diagnostics company and Fraunhofer IZI spin-off developing a fully lab-free, electricity-free testing platform that brings molecular-grade infectious disease testing to the point of care, including the home. Its first application targets HPV testing in women's health, with a platform designed to adapt across multiple infectious diseases for decentralised testing in low-resource settings. The company was founded in 2023 by Skaiste Arbaciauskaite and Dirk Kuhlmeier based on technology patented at the Fraunhofer Institute for Cell Therapy and Immunology.
