About SWEBAL
SWEBAL (Sweden Ballistics) is a Swedish defence manufacturer building one of the first new TNT production facilities in Europe since the Cold War. Founded in 2024 in Nora, Sweden, the company plans to produce over 4,000 tonnes of trinitrotoluene annually to address NATO ammunition shortages exposed by the war in Ukraine. The 24/7 plant will use European-sourced raw materials and is targeting full-scale production in 2028.
