About Reduciner
Reduciner is an Espoo, Finland-based deeptech company that converts captured industrial CO2 into carbon monoxide using a high-temperature thermochemical process powered by renewable electricity and biogenic carbon. The resulting CO is a drop-in feedstock for existing industrial machinery, with activated carbon as a co-product, allowing hard-to-abate sectors such as lime, cement, steel, and pulp to cut emissions without rebuilding their infrastructure. The company spun out of VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland in 2025.
